What you think is a story about the brutal reality of middle aged divorce is actually something more once you arrive deeper in the series. It’s actually about perspective. A true “he said, she said” that will have you questioning not only the character’s sense of what is true and what is not, but “truths” you may have missed in your own life.
Another reminder that life is not black and white. It is utterly gray.
