It’s not an accident that Republicans are relentlessly attacking education, from preschool to universities.

I’ve never necessarily put the two together, but it makes sense to me that attacking the very idea of education is an executed plan to (put simply) dumb down the populace. It’s diabolical, but it’s certainly worked in cartoons!
