Trump’s Toast, Folks (cato.org)

Up until now, I’ve been hesitant to predict how the various prosecutions of Donald Trump are likely to turn out. But no longer. I believe yesterday’s indictment in Georgia sealed Trump’s fate, and it is now all but certain that he will be convicted of multiple felonies in one or more of the four pending cases against him. Here’s why.

I sure hope they’re right. It weighs on me, everyday, that we could reach a point in America where (the collective) we could elect a person who literally tried to subvert the very democracy he’s running (and swore an oath the last time he was elected) to “protect”.

Please, for the love of all that is actually right in this world, make this man pay for his transgressions. Not elect him for them.
