Episode art/description for Slate’s “Hear Me Out” No podcast has infuriated me more than the latest episode of “Hear Me Out” featuring author and professor Frank Buckley, who himself is a previous Trump voter. The premise of the episode was to have this guy explain to listeners (assuming mostly liberal) that Trump voters are not crazy people.

But he turns out to be a defensive, reactionary, false-fact-spitting, stereotypical apologist for a group of people that refuse to listen to anyone else’s opinion. Ironically, displaying the exact behavior he’s accusing the “other side” of participating in.

It was annoying at best. And offensive at worst. Far from achieving the goal of the episode, it only angered me more.
