Spent much of the morning with a gentleman named Juan Carlos, who runs a nature preserve tour. We toured the preserve, seeing a lot of exotic (to us) animals, listening to family stories about how his farm turned was turned into a nature preserve with help of the Costa Rica government. It was a wonderful time, topped off with a homemade lunch of rice, beans, beef, plantains, and lemon water. Perfect ending to a wonderful morning.
