In addition to birthdate, there should be a deceased date field in Contacts. That data can be used for both memorial purposes and to prevent Siri suggestions about making a posthumous birthday call.
Couoldn’t agree more. And I think he’s right. When we build software, we always come at it from the perspective of our users, who are (hopefullyy) alive. But those users also deal with data re: people that are not. It is a hidden trap that we should address.
