This week was yet another reminder of just how expensive owning a car is. Or worse, multiple cars. Jayme’s car is coming up on 5 years old, and Brian’s is a used car we bought back in January (because of a wreck). And by the end of the week, I had spent $3700 on car maintenance, between the two of them. A combination of brakes, tires, a CV axle, and spark plugs. For the love.
And here’s the real question…we can afford (even though it hurts tremendously) that bill, but what about people who can’t? What do they do? Honestly.
