I happened upon a 60 Minutes segment from 2011, just weeks after his death, that looks back at Steve Jobs’ life through the upcoming Walter Isaacson book, scheduled to come out just days after the segment’s airing. A little over 13 years later, it’s nothing but nostalgic to watch and look back on now.

Unexpextedly, it also generated the following thought:

Despite the many issues with the Isaacson book, you can’t help but be jealous of the man who was not only allowed, but personally picked, to document Jobs’ life at the end. The opportunity to interview the man, to attempt to understand him, unfiltered, had to be amazing.
