Car shopping has opened my eyes to the fact that, with a few exceptions, the vast majority of vehicles on the road right now are either black, white, gray, or silver. Coming in a distant fifth is some sort of red, but normally tending more toward a maroon.

When did that happen? Did I miss that memo?
